- Glossary Words: Information Literacy, Plagiarism, Citation, MLA Handbook/Style, Annotated Bibliography

 

- Reflection:  List and describe 3 different situations (outside of school) when it would be necessary to be information literate.  Then explain why it would be important to be information literate in those situations. Be as specific as possible.

- Locate another article on plagiarism in the MAS Ultra Database and write a MLA citation for it. Make sure to print it out or make a not of where it is so you can find it again.

 

- Read "Eye on Cheaters" Article

       - The Plagiarism article you located in the MAS Ultra Database

- Create an annotated bibliographic entry* that follows the guidelines presented in class for:

            - One of the sources about the internet that are on reserve in the library

            - A source you located about Maya Angelou using the OPAC

 

*Remember that this includes the citation and the annotation. This should also be typed and formatted correctly. Look at the example that we provided to you.
